  3. Time to Collect Vocabulary Homework Do you have late work to turn-in? Is your name on the white board? If so, you need to complete a quiz in working lunch by tomorrow!

  4. Writing Warm-up • Think of a conflict you have had with a friend or family member. • Briefly write your side of the story in first person. • Next, write about the incident from the perspective of the other person. This is tough. You really have to put yourself in the other person’s shoes. • Don’t worry; I won’t ask you to share your story with the class.

  5. Colonialism How do you define colonialism? What is a colony? What is a colonist?

  6. Lesson: Chapter 22 Read chapter 22 by playing tag. Then, work together at your tables to complete the Analyzing Cultural Conflict Organizer. We will discuss the chapter in about 20 minutes. Finish early? Get to work on your Mind Map. Mind Maps will be collected on Friday!

  7. Homework Finish reading TFA. Due Friday! Complete stations 1-4 as needed. Come to class with three possible research topics. We will begin station five tomorrow!
