Role of Local Authority • Consideration of three year gambling policy. • Consideration of premises licences • Maintenance of Public Register • Enforcement
Statement of Gambling Policy • approval by Council • subject to review • review of licensing guidance
Timetable • Act passed 7th April 2005 • Draft Statement of Gambling Policy out for consultation 26th June 2006 to 8th September 2006 • Full Council approval 23rd November 2006
