  3. MODS/OSMOS IE FEATURES • All mechanisms use stepper motors • All mechanism control channels use identical controller • All mechanisms use identical cabling • Multiple mechanisms can be moved simultaneously, typically about 4.

  7. KOSMOS IE ≠ OSMOS IE • Different shutter and non-OSU camera electronics may have shutter control going through IE • Shutter has position feedback via RS-232 which could be read by IE • Low power sleep mode that shuts off 65V power and motor controllers will be added.
