  2. General • Conceptual issues resolved • Basic conferencing by SIP. • Advanced conferencing by XCON (hopefully). • The design team has almost finished its work • The SIP/SIPPING community is more than welcome to comment and contribute.

  3. The Design Team Outputsand the Directly Related Documents • draft-ietf-sipping-conferencing-requirements-00.txt • draft-ietf-sipping-conferencing-framework-00.txt • draft-ietf-sipping-cc-conferencing-01.txt • >draft-ietf-sip-callee-caps-00.txt • draft-ietf-sipping-conference-package-01.txt • >draft-ietf-sipping-dialog-package-02.txt

  4. draft-ietf-sipping-conferencing-requirements-00.txt • Status • Unchanged. • To Do • Possibly reduce the scope to SIP/SIPPING requirements only - pending establishment of the XCON WG. • Open Issues • Discovery that a SIP UA is capable of acting as a focus vs. discovery that a dialog is a part of an active conference.

  5. draft-ietf-sipping-conferencing-framework-00.txt • Status • Stable • To Do • Possibly align with the latest developments in SIPPING and XCON. • Open Issues • None.

  6. draft-ietf-sipping-cc-conferencing-01.txt • Status • Depends on draft-ietf-sip-callee-caps-00.txt. • To Do • Add details for selected messages to the existing flows. • Open Issues • None.

  7. draft-ietf-sipping-conference-package-01.txt • Status • Depends on draft-ietf-sipping-dialog-package-02.txt. • To Do • Requires another revision to include design team inputs (such as side-bars). • Open Issues • Exact services’ definition. • Content of dialogs’ information.

  8. Future Draftconference-side-bars • Status • The approach has been agreed among the design team members. • To Do • Alan Johnston and Brian Rosen volunteered to write-up the summary of the design team discussions. • Open Issues • None.
