  1. Investment Society Fund Meeting • Mondays from 6pm to 7pm in MGS - 55 (3rd floor) (next to library) or in study room 3 or 4 in the library • £8,000 mutual Fund created from students money the invests over the long term • Mostly deals with equities but can trade in bonds, gilts investment trusts and some trading in Forex • Main objective is to teach members how to pick a stock, present it and beat our benchmark so that we can make some money for our investors

  2. Traders’ Workshop Date to determined Time: 6.30pm Come early to meet our expert analysts, enjoy refreshments, and practice on a demo platform in our state-of-the-art traders' room before the main presentation commences. The workshop will end around 8.15pm. Location: 60 Cannon Street, London, EC4N 6NP. Nearest station is Cannon Street tube. Exit the station and turn left towards St Paul's. (Approx 4 minutes walk)

  3. Trading Competition16th November to 10th December • 2) Real-time Monitoring of University Team Performance     *   It is proposed that each team be allocated two ledgers: a Practice Ledger for testing / simulating strategies and a Competition Ledger. The Competition Ledger will be pre-populated with a Specific starting balance for example £100,000.        *   If a University also have individuals trading then the average of each of the ledger values would be taken to give an overall score.        *   Students can trade Shares & FX via the ledgersNB: timetotrade currently supports real-time data from Currenex and 15 minute delayed data from LSE and NYSE.

  4. 3) FREE Trading Resources for each University  *   Each university entering the competition will automatically get access to timetotrade's PRO tools which they can use to develop, back-test and optimise their trading strategies.
