Population transfer is a war crime against people under occupation Israel must be held accountable to its legal obligations. Impunity for its massive and systematic violations of international law and treating it as an exception above the law of nations must be ended
We must not allow ! • The ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians from Jerusalem to continue • The UN to duck out of its commitments. • The International Community, represented by its official bodies including the UN, the EU and the Quartet NOT have a clear commitment to assuring fundamental Palestinian rights. • the upgrade of relations between EU and Israel and call for the suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement“
What we can do? • Support the BDS Campaign, • Joint Europe and international campaign aginst Violia & Alstom, the companies that construct the light train in east Jerusalem • Activities targeting the European Palrliament, the UN and governments. Resolutions on Palestine must be implemented. Implement the ICJ decision. • oppose the upgrade of relations between EU and Israel and call for the suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement" • Take Israeli leaders responsible for breaches of IV Geneva Convention to the International Criminal Court
We Must Understand that: Palestinians are not only those living in the West Bank and Gaza. There are six million Palestinians in the diaspora. 1.3 million within the 1948 territories, Palestinians face a renewed onslaught to drive them from their land, as part of the occupation’s attempt to manage the ‘demographic threat’ to the Jewish majority. Palestinian rights are not for negotiations. International bodies such as the UN and EU must face up to the responsibility of upholding the principles of international law. Israel does not want peace, it wants a ’peace process’ to use as a cover for its policies of racism, expulsion and expansion. There is no point talking about peace process in these circumstances. We must start talking about the fundamental conditions for peace that must be met first, in particular an end to the occupation & colonization of the West Bank, colonizing and Judaizing Gallilee and Naqab, and the an end to racism and discrimination within the 1948 territoriesb
