Application procedures should be efficient and user-friendly and should avoid waste of time for researchers. 3. Positions should be open for researchers regardless of their nationality.

Mentoring • Eurodoc will continue its efforts on a mentoring policy paper. • Eurodoc appreciated the lively discussion; several new ideas will be included, notably • Considering multiple mentors rather than only a single mentor • Put the mentoring discussion in a broader perspective, shared responsibility • Collect best practice models
European Survey • Survey will be launched in end of November 2008 in different phases • First focus on response rate by using several channels (press release, members lists, rector’s conferences) • Survey working group calls for additional participation
Tomorrow • Four Workgroups (Skills, Career, HR Policy and Institutions, Mobility) • Eurodoc delegates are invited to ACTIVELY take part in the discussions, not only to listen • Eurodoc stand
