What happened to the Mary Rose? - Lead flotilla of 60 ships against the French navy. - Watched by King Henry VIII from the coast. - Sank on 19th July 1545 with only 35 survivors from 400 crew. - No-one knows why it sunk – either a door was left open or it was hit by a French cannon ball.
