He had it built to harbor injured soldiers. • The architect of this building is Jules HardouinMansart. • The hôtel is located in Paris, France • The construction of the building began in 1671, it was completed in 1676. • The hôtel was inaugurated in 1676. • The hôtel is used today as a museum. • The style used to create this hôtel is LibéralBruant. The building is mostly made of marble. It was made of marble partially because marble was some of the only materials they had to build with, and marble is a strong building material.
