A structure is something that humans and animals build to be strong and stable. We also build structures to keep out the forces of nature, such as wind, rain and snow.
Houses, bridges, tunnels, stores, and schools are all types of structures. These structures provide shelter and safety.
Bikes, trains, buses and planes are structures too. These structures help us to travel.
