1st paragraph; The first paragraph states that the United States Of American can be called U.S, U.S.A, or America. 2nd paragraph; In the Second Paragraph, it says that the United States of America has 50 states and one territory, the District of Columbia. To the north of the country, there is Canada, to the south there is Mexico, to the east there is the Atlantic ocean, and to the west there is the pacific ocean.
3rd paragraph; Alaska lies Northwest From the U.S. The U.S is in the continent of North America. To the east of Alaska is Canada, to the west is Russia, and across from it is the Bering Strait. Hawaii is a group of islands that lies in the Pacific ocean. The United States owns a lot of territories in the Pacific Ocean and in the Caribbean Sea.
4th paragraph: While being 3.39 million square miles in area, and having a population of 306 billion people, America is the third largest country, after Russia and Canada. It also has the third largest population after China and India.
5th paragraph: America has a lot of diverse cultures from many different countries all over the world. There are many cultures because many people from all over the world have immigrated to the United States. It has one of the biggest economies in the world.
6th Paragraph; The U.S Constitution is the main basis of law for the Government of the United States. The U.S constitution divides the power of the United States Government into three branches. The branches are the Executive, Judiciary, and the Legislative.
7th paragraph: The Constitution has been changed 27 times since then. The first ten changes are called the Bill Of Rights. The American Parliament consists of the Senate and the House. The members of both Senate and House make up the Congress.
8th paragraph: The House Consists of 435 members. The term time for each member is 2 years.
9th paragraph: The Senate consists of 100 members, two from each state. Each of the Senate members term is six years.
10th paragraph: Both members from the Senate and the House are elected by the people of the United States.
11th Paragraph; A president’s term is 4 years long. Each President may not have more than two terms. He is not voted by the people. He is voted through the term Electoral Votes.
12th paragraph: The Supreme Court consists of one judge and 9 members. The Members do not have terms, they are there for life.
