LOCAL PROVISION PRIVATE ENTERPRISE • The main aim is to make a profit • They tend to be: • Private health and sports clubs e.g. Fitness First, Oasis • They will charge either a yearly or monthly subscription charge • They do not cater for team games • Can you give any other examples? LOCAL PROVISION PRIVATE AND VOLUNTARY CLUBS AND ASSOCIATIONS • These are private non-profit making clubs run by committees for the benefit of the members • Most of the officers work voluntarily • Normally owned by the members or held in trust • Not owned by private investors or shareholders • Cater for outdoor team games • Can you give any examples?
