Web GUI vs Windows GUI End-Users • Macintosh and Windows (PC) end-users will access SAP via the BRITE Portal using the Web GUI link • Recommended browser for Macintosh is Firefox 2.0.0.7 • Recommended browser for Windows (PC) is InternetExplorer 6.0 SPI or greater or Internet 7.0 SPO or greater THERE IS NO SOFTWARE TO INSTALL Super-Users • Windows (PC) super-users will access SAP via the BRITE Portal using the Windows GUI link • Recommended browser Internet Explorer 6.0 SPI or greater or Internet 7.0 SPO or greater • To install the SAP GUI, click the link below to install. http://sapgui:34521/Installing_SAPGUI-710p1.htm • Macintosh super-users will need to access SAP via the Web GUI link (refer to end-user requirements above)

Do you know your user login id and password? • User Login ID: PXXXXXXXX • Entry format example: P00012345 • P + 8 digits • In the above example, the personnel number is 12345 (5 digits), therefore 3 leading zeros need to be added in order to make up the 8 digits • Password: mmddyyyy • (first time users only) • Entry format example: ja021956 • mm= first 2 letters of birth month (ja) • dd = 2-digit birth date (02) • yyyy = 4-digit birth year (1956) • password is lower case sensitive

  7. Do you know who your BRITE LITES are? • BRITE LITES (Leaders in Technology, Education and Support) are an integral part of the BRITE support network. BRITE LITES are mentors who have volunteered to answer questions their peers may have about the new system as well as share information and tips and tricks. • BRITE LITES are broken down by roles within zones and divisions. • Find your updated BRITE LITES information on the BRITE website at: www.broward.k12.fl.us/ERP, under the BRITE LITES tab.

Do you know who your ESS Resident Experts are? • ESS “Resident Experts” are an integral part of the ESS Resource Network and will form a cadre of knowledgeable individuals who will be able to assist their staff with using ESS. • ESS Resident Experts have been identified by their administrators and are located at each school site and department. • Find the ESS Resident Expert for your location on the BRITE website at: http://www.broward.k12.fl.us/erp/brite/HR/ess.html

BRITE SUPPORT CENTER (754) 321-8120 Normal Hours of Operation:Monday-Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm Extended Hours of Operation: July 1, 2008 – August 31, 2008 Monday-Friday 7:00am -7:00pm Due to the HR/Payroll Go-Live date occurring during summer 2008, the normal hours of operation of the BRITE Support Center have been extended to meet anticipated needs of staff returning from summer vacation. These new hours will be evaluated regularly and may be extended additionally if needed. If you need assistance after hours, please utilize the online help options or leave a message and your call will be returned the following business day.

Payroll Department has a new (temporary) location and phone number • In preparation for the Human Resources/Payroll Go-Live on July 1, 2008, the Payroll Department will be housed at the Sawgrass Technology Park on a temporary basis, effective July 1, 2008. • Directions to the Sawgrass Technology Park are located on the BRITE website at www.broward.k12.fl.us/ERP • The Payroll Department has a new telephone number - 754 321-8150.

  12. Do you have the BRITE CAB Conference? • Make sure you are checking the BRITE CAB Conference daily – The BRITE conference will be automatically added to all SAP 6.0 users CAB desktop • The SAP CAB Conference will no longer be available
