  2. ENACTIVE(action-based)Pre-School/Kinder • The student learns about the cat through imitating the actions of the cat and sometimes the sound of a cat.

  3. Iconic ( image-based)Elementary • Here the student learn about a cat through images. • Ex. They learn that a cat is a carnivore through the food chain.

  4. Symbolic(Ianguage based) • In this representation a student learns about the cat by identifying the different body parts of a cat and also through dissecting and defining the internal parts of the cat.
