First, you have to at least try to put up a fight to get your way upfront. Then, you stay in silence for a while. After that, you must device some kind of plan to get you out of whatever you don’t want to do, like a certain event. Next, you pretend to completely agree with your parents and act extremely happy and thankful until you put your plan into action. Finally, you proceed with the plan and, tada, you win. This works 90 percent of the time and it helps if you have others in on it so you are not on your own. If your parents discover what you are up to before the plan, then you are going to get in a lot of trouble.

If they see that you children had to run away in order to be together without being scared they might stop fighting. Paris does not even know me and I don’t know him. No one can force me to marry Paris, especially when I already have a husband. Finally, Romeo and I did not rush our marriage and we are sure of our feelings for one another. I thought you supported me and my decisions, but now you don’t. I also thought we were friends, but I guess that is not true either.
