Posidonia

This project aims to design an informative system that integrates data collected during monitoring surveys on Posidonia oceanica. It provides easy access to comprehensive oceanographic and biological data, promoting public awareness of seagrass conservation. The system includes a web tool to engage a wider audience and encourage monitoring efforts.

Posidonia Interreg3B-Posidonia Informative System • Main Objectives: • to design a informative system where the data base and the visualisation system were: • able to integrate all the data collected during monitoring surveys on Posidonia oceanica • to give the possibility to have one easy access to a data bank comprehensive both of oceanographic and biologic data for scientific and coastal managers • to create a WEB tool that could attract and sensitize a larger part of the public to the problems of Posidonia oceanica • to promote the monitoring of the seagrass Posidonia oceanica.
