To launch the Command Prompt application on your system, follow the steps given below. • Click the Start menu or Window icon and type the Run command. • On the Run wizard, type the cmd keyword and tap the Enter button on your system’s keyboard. • Now you have to note down the letter of your external hard drive. Using the Command Prompt application:

  3. On the cmd window, type the attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.* command. • In the above command, g is the letter of your external hard drive. If your external hard drive letter is F, J, or D, change it accordingly. • Now, the recycle bin virus present on your external hard drive will be removed successfully.
