1. Hinrich Foundation Introduction The Hinrich Foundation Mr. Merle A. Hinrich established the Hinrich Foundation in 2012 with the mission of promoting sustainable global trade. We advance our mission through a focus on three interrelated areas across the trade ecosystem:

International Trade Research Conduct research and analysis and provide commentary on global trade issues. Contribute constructively to the public debate on trade in the hope that it will lead to better and more informed decision-making on the part of government, business and civil society.
Export Trade Assistance • Supports small and medium-sized exporters (SMEs) across developing Asia in marketing their export-ready products to buyers worldwide TO: • Generate inquiries • Secure export orders • Create jobs for local communities
Hinrich Global Trade Leader Development program The program involves a work integrated learningcareer development path that includes three integral parts: 1. A fully sponsored master’s degree2. A 6-month to one-year work placement for skills development3. A career with the sponsoring company upon graduation Our trade-industry partners co-sponsor the Global Trade Leader Career Development Program, and are playing a significant role in helping to develop the next generation of local leadership talent. Eligibility Be a Chinese citizen, proficient in English, written & spoken Mandarin Have an undergraduate degree in engineering, supply chain logistics, business, or other related disciplines Familiar with Computer Aided Design (CAD) or Solidworks or other design softwares Have at least three years of work experience after graduation by the time of your application Have a valid minimum TOEFL iBT 92 or IELTS 6.5
