Ruggedized Cellular Phone Data Interface System GENERALDESCRIPTION: The Casio G’ZOne based F&J air sampler Data Interface system is a ruggedized phone running a custom application including a Data Concentrator electronic module and a power supply. The phone is constantly charged through the USB connector. The F&J Data Interface system permits connection to an air sampler system whereby measurement data can be sent periodically via email and/or SMS. Additionally, air sampler status messages are sent when an unexpected event occurs, or an alarm is triggered or cleared. The setup feature in the F&J Data Application allows the configuration of the email server, up to three recipient email addresses and the selection of engineering units. The operator can also set up the phone to send SMS text messages to up to three recipients. Data can also be sent by email or text on an operator selectable frequency. The Casio G’ZOne cellular phone is mounted in an enclosure external to the main air sampler enclosure (May vary for some F&J air sampling models) while also has a locking hasp for a padlock to provide some measure of security.
