The Nonprofit Marketplace • Nonprofits spend about $700 billion annually, which represents 8% of the GDP • Nonprofits employ almost 11 million people, or 7% of the workforce • There are 868,000 501c3 orgs, but only 290,000 with budgets greater than $25,000/year
