  3. Motivation • ViSOM requires a large amount of neurons in the network to effectively represent the data. • But ViSOM suffer from dead neuronproblem.

  4. Objectives To propose a modified Adaptive Coordinate (AC) approach is hybridised with ViSOM to address the above-mentioned issues. The basic idea of AC approach is to mirror the movements and locations in the SOM projecting activity.
