Data Validation Highlights • Data is validated at three levels: • Hard errors that prevent submission into routing • Hard errors that prevent submission into Grants.gov (when applicable) • Soft warning errors that alert users to possible problems, but do not prevent submission • System will display messages and can redirect the user back to the location of the invalid data element
