  2. A person’s coming to Christ is like a chain with many links.

  3. We do not have to feel that we individually carry the full burden of evangelism. God has not called us to only be the last link, just to be a link.

  4. We need to intentionally become partners with other Christians, linking our strengths and abilities in order to lead people to Christ.

  14. Matthew 5:13-16 You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it useful again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.

  27. Sacrifice • Sacrifice of time • Sacrifice of resources • Sacrifice of lifestyle

  28. Close Proximity Relationships Jesus spent most of His time with sinners!

  29. Relationship Barriers • Biblical issues • Spiritual danger • Risking your reputation • Personal discomfort

  30. Barrier Breakers • Throw a Matthew party! • Involve others in your everyday activities • Use “strategic consumerism”

  43. What Does Light Do? • Our light can’t be covered up or people will be left guessing what it is that sets us apart

  44. What Does Light Do? • To achieve “maximum impact” we need all three parts of the evangelism equation!
