They come with small shape and size and that is the main reason why they are most popular and available batteries in the market. Usually, the shape and size specification of the batteries are: • Diameter: 5 to 20 mm • Shape: Cylindrical • Height: 1 to 6 mm This batteries are known as button cell batteries because of the look and feel they provide. They look like a button on a cloth. Small size and efficient results are the biggest reasons why they are widely used in different electronic devices. The basic requirements of this batteries are that they should have long. Thus they are more used in applications like wrist watch, calculator,and pacemakers. And to be more generic, they are used in portable electronic devices. Maxell button cell batteries have another variant of them that is little thinner version of it and it is called as coin cells. Mostly, maxell button cell batteries have low self-discharge which clearly means that this batteries capable in serving power for long amount of time period. But particularly when it is necessary to use cell that requires to have higher capacity, that time this batteries may discharge little faster and thus they may not be so very useful.
