Two Step Verification • In case your Yahoo account is secured with two-step verification for configure yahoo mail in outlook, you need to generate a Yahoo Mail app password. • You will require this app password in place of the Yahoo Mail sign-in password. • Try to enable two-step verification on your Yahoo account. • This verification offers an additional layer of security that will protect your account from any unauthorized access.

Sign in to your  Yahoo Mail account • On your web page, at the upper-right corner, choose your  profile name. • Select the  Account Info option. • Choose the  Account Security option. • Turn on your  Allow apps that use less secure sign in toggle.
