Glacial Movement. Here’s what we already know…. The Ice Age was a period when huge glaciers covered the Earth. It was hard for things to grow because it was so cold. Eventually, the temperature of the Earth increased and the ice melted. This allowed hunter-gatherers to farm and grow crops.
