Respecting Options of Care A Palette of Faith in Action
Questions from the Pastor:(Posted on their signs and in their buildings) Intensive Care – What does that mean to you? You can’t control the when, but you can control the how…… Do you know who will decide for you? Have you given them directions?
The following slides show the information that will be included • on posters to be hung in participating the churches, temples and community centers • in newsletters, flyers, web pages, facebook pages depending on the media used by each congregation
Will they agree on which path you would take? Will they know howyou would decide?
Without any direction from you, it may very well be the hardest decision they ever have to make. They may always wonder or worry about whether or not they made the right choice for you.
Talk to your family; tell them what you would do or how you would decide and designate a durable power of attorney for healthcare. Do it for yourself Do it for those you love
