  3. ICELT entry requirements • 500 hours relevant experience (by the end of the course) • Language at Council of Europe B2 Level (FCE)

  4. ICELT Syllabus Language Knowledge and Awareness The Background to Teaching and Learning English Resources and Materials Planning and Management of Teaching and Learning Evaluation, Monitoring and Assessment Professional Development Language for Teachers

  5. ICELT Programmes • 120 contact hours with tutors • 12 assessments (teaching and written work) • 150 – 300 hours reading and research • Peer observation of eight lessons

  8. The ICELT course in Korea • 2 week intensive block • 14 week extensive– 3 hours input sessions in the evenings • Teaching – 4 assessed, 1 unassessed • Assignments – 1 presentation, 7 written assignments • Observations – 8 peer observations
