The role of the police towards to the public 1- Listening to the complaints from the public and welcoming their suggestions. 2- To treat with public with respect and love regardless of laws, procedures and nature of the work during investigation or attempts to reach to the reality of the case. 19. What are the expected results of maintaining positive relation between public and police? Our concern is your safety and security

21. Abiding to the laws and regulations related to the expatriates like traffic law, expatriates residence law and all other valid laws implemented in the country and not violating it. Our concern is your safety and security

22. Prevention of crimes and curving its occurrence through ensuring safety measures by everybody at his residence, company and establishment and not exposing himself for crime and danger and not falling victim for criminals. Our concern is your safety and security

Assisting to apprehend the suspects and bringing them in front of the justice through reporting the crime witnessed by the citizen / resident / visitor if they posses information about it because this cooperation will inevitably lead to the rapid arrest of the suspect and bringing him in front of the justice. 24. Advices and guidance :- Qatar is an Islamic conservative country and it deals with others with respect and honor. It posses its own customs and traditions and the people of Qatar are committed to follow it and they love every body who respects those customs and follow it. So, they expect from anyone who wants to stay with them in their country that they will take care of those customs and follow it. 25. Wearing a descent and a covering dress by both men and women and not wearing improper and dresses contrary to the taste of the people. The bachelors must not rush with families in commercial complexes and markets. The Qatari community gives respect for women, therefore we also expect that the residents will do so with them. At all time, please give priority for elderly people and patients and also treat their requests with all respect and honor. • The Qatari laws and regulations prohibit begging in markets, commercial complexes and residential neighborhoods. • If any body is in need of money, he may approach the charity organizations working in the country as they support the needy and the poor and help them. Our concern is your safety and security

27. The laws and regulations functioning in the country also prohibit fishing or riding bicycles in areas designated for families such as Corniche, or near by the sensitive areas and economic establishments. Our concern is your safety and security

The state's laws, rules, and regulations prohibit the production or promotion of alcohol or drug abuse, especially in residential neighborhoods or public areas. • Taking pictures in public places is acceptable, But, please avoid taking pictures of women or men when ever you take a photo. Our concern is your safety and security

29. Please take permission from present persons in the location or passersby if you take the photo of the location. As you know, the Qatari law prohibits filming the government buildings and locations, military, diplomatic and sensitive organizations and those premises with notice prohibiting photography. Our concern is your safety and security

30. Everybody knows that the large gatherings in the markets, or in the cities, or in front of shops or looking sharply / staring to the shopping women is a matter of harassment for everybody. Therefore, take care of this and choose proper time for shopping. Our concern is your safety and security

31. Urinating or spitting on the streets or sleeping in the streets or gathering in front of the houses of others is contrary to the customs and traditions and is an unpleasant behavior. Our concern is your safety and security

32. Be sure to acquire the fire extinguisher and learn to use it properly in your house. • When you cross the road, you should abide by the specified places for crossing in order to avoid hitting and traffic accidents. Our concern is your safety and security

Making the safety equipments available at your house, work place or accommodation guaranties a safe and descent life for you. 5- Using private cars for transporting others (Illegal taxies) with the aim of earning money is violation of the traffic law No. (19) for the year 2007.
