To organize joint Working Dog training between Military and Civilian Police K9 agencies, in efforts to combine training techniques and tactics for all K9 teams to be exposed to various training styles used around the country. All teams will be exposed to a variety of experiences used by K9 teams around the world. TRAINING VISION:
Any department, AGENCY or Military Installation that has K9 teams are invited to attend. It will be a training event where your input and recommendations will be implemented and used for future training.
FT.CARSON, CO RANGE # 150 RANGE 150 is a very large MOUT(Military Operations in Urban Terrain) sites with multiple story furnished buildings, underground tunnels, vehicles, roadways and large open areas. 0800 02AUG2011 – 1800 03AUG2011 WHERE AND WHEN:

2-3 August 2011 An in brief / safety brief will be conducted at Range # 150 on 2 August at 0800hrs. Lodging will be available for teams on site starting at 1500hrs on 1 August 2011. Teams will be able to stay through and check out on 4 August 2011 by 1000hrs.
Teams are asked to bring their own dog supplies and dog food (if staying). There are limited places for opportunities for people to go and eat during training due to the remote location. Handlers are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks. The mobile food truck will be called to the range twice a day for individual food purchases. Food
END STATE: This will be a great training exercise for dog handlers and trainers alike. A place for knowledge and experience to come together and be taught to less experienced personnel. This will be a fun and exciting exercise filled with a plethora of knowledge to be passed on. Please feel free to pass this information onto anyone that may be interested in attending.
Confirmation: All persons who plan to attend, please RSVP before 20 JUL 2011 so I can obtain an accurate number of teams so that you can be set up into training groups before the event.
