Math Remediation Changes to Math/Stat at CSUMB (2018-19) By EO 1110, remedial courses were eliminated and all students were placed directly in GE Math/Stat courses. 1-unit corequisite support courses were developed to provide additional support to students in GE Math/Stat courses. All GE Math/Stat courses were redesigned, restructured, and coordinated, incorporating new pedagogies (Reading Apprenticeship, Complex Instruction) to better support the success of all students.
