About Us • As an independent Medico-Legal reporting company, Jane James and Associates offers their clients a personal and professional service in the clinical negligence and personal injury litigation arena. • Jane James and Associates has been built on over 35 years’ experience within the care sector providing clients with well-balanced, robust and evidenced based reports complying with Civil Procedure Rules part 35.

  3. Our Team • As a leading independent provider of Expert Care Reports we attract the highest calibre of professionals. Our expert team consists of nurses, occupational therapists, paediatric nurses, physiotherapists and a psychotherapist based throughout the UK. • All of our experts have a minimum of 10 years clinical experience and the majority much more. Many of our experts have also worked as Medico-Legal Case Managers. • Our rigorous induction, mentoring and supervision scheme ensures that all new Experts are supported and developed, ensuring the reports they produce are of the top quality our customers have come to expect. All of our Experts are Bond Solon trained.

Expert Witness Team • At Jane James and Associates we consider it of utmost importance that all of our care Experts undertake Expert Witness Accreditation via Bond Solon and Cardiff University and are well versed in the expectations of them under the Civil Procedure Rules part 35 and the recent Civil Justice Council Guidance on the instruction of Experts (2014). • All of our Experts are state registered and are still practising clinicians enabling them to remain up to date with best practice and clinical developments. Jean Phillips, who leads the expert team, seeks to ensure each of our customers gets the right Expert for their case to ensure they have the experience you need to provide robust written and oral evidence.

  5. Support Service Team • Our support Services team have in excess of 20 years of medical and legal administration experience combined and underpin the overall service you will receive. They ensure the Experts are fully supported in the production of our products. There is a vigorous induction and development programme for all office based staff ensuring quality assurance is sustained at all times. • There is a robust infrastructure in place which is monitored and developed to ensure the highest calibre reports are produced for clients. Each Expert has a dedicated Personal Assistant, who works together with them and our clients to ensure efficient timings and deadlines are adhered too.
