  4. Task 1 – comprehension/context Sum up what arguments Kofi Annan and Tony Blair bring forth to support their view of the war‘s legality. • First sentence!   5. Task 2 – analysis Analyse how the cartoon makes a mockery of Tony Blair. • “The cartoon uses T. Blair’s physical appearance, clothes, props and the setting to make mockery of the PM and his political decisions concerning the Iraq war” • The outward appearance suggests that he has gone mad • Huge eyes (alertness) & bloody hands (guilt) • The rifle alludes to illegal fox hunting  implies that the war in Iraq was illegal, too • Saddam Hussein’s head hung up as a trophy  shows the inhumanity of the manhunt
