Terms • Achievement - How a student scores on a State test in one of only four subjects.(Reading, Writing, Math, Science) • Growth - How a student improved over a 12 month period after taking another test in one of the same four subjects. • College and Career Ready – Not fully defined yet beyond “graduation rate” or percent of students graduating in 4 years (or 5 years) • Proficiency - A Combined score for both Achievement and Growth.
