Though having simple origins (fermented grape juice), it comes in a variety of tastes and styles. It can be still or fizzy, it can range from a dark-colored full-bodied drink to a tingly, light and lively drink. Imagine! All this from a single fruit-grapes! Wine growing (Viticulture) has been a part of ancient Indian culture, dating back to the Indus Valley Civilization. In the 21st century wine making has been revived in India.
