  2. “Don’t judge me!” • Do not want to be reminded they are doing something wrong • Being reminded of one’s responsibilities toward God • One’s life comes under needed scrutiny • One’s arguments & justifications are not standing up under close examination • When trying to conceal the real reasons or motivations for their behavior

Christians & Judging? • Surprised at Accusation: • Romans 12:2 • Matthew 7:1-5 “Judge not, that you be not judged…” • Many judgments by Jesus – • Lust (5:28), anger (5:22), adultery (5:27), divorce in absence of sexual immorality (5:32), false oaths (5:33), hypocrisy (6:1-5), not laying up treasure on earth (6:20), & loving wealth (6:24).

  7. Christians & Judging? • Matthew 7:1-5 “Judge not, that you be not judged…” • Judgment condemned is Hypocritical (7:4) • Get rid of “log” to help person with “speck” in their eye. • People with smaller problems still need to correct those problems.

  8. Teach/ Helping those who will not appreciate your help • Matthew 7:6 NKJV 6 "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.”
