What is Matal? • Matalis a free, online, pedagogical resource center. • It contains thousands of links to educational materials organized according to approximately 300 topics, and includes an internal search engine. • Each topic is subdivided by grade level and type of material. • The center serves teachers, student-teachers, pupils of all ages and parents. • All material can be printed free of charge. • In addition to the materials, Matal offers several unique services.

  3. Ask the expert: Any visitor, from anywhere in the world, can send in a request for assistance in finding material, preparing lesson plans and more. The staff of Matal returns answers within hours to a few days. • Talkback: Each topic is accompanied by the possibility of sending a message, request, comment etc., by the click of a button. • Sharing educational materials: Teachers from all countries can send in their original worksheets and ideas, and these will be uploaded to the internet and linked to the appropriate section in Matal, for use by all online visitors.
