  2. If you are pulled over by a police officer under suspicion of driving under the influence, the decisions that you make from that moment on will determine how everything will play out for you. It is in your best interest to be as cooperative as possible with the police officer, at all times. If you are severely intoxicated or only have a few bears, you will have alcohol in your system and you will be in trouble. The only difference is: will you potentially get away with a warning, or will you end up in jail? Either way, you are going to need an attorney to protect your best interests and potentially reduce your charges.

  4. Never Argue With the Police Officer From the moment when you are pulled, you should try and speak only when asked. Provide the officer with your ID, license, and registration, and await further instructions. The officer will use a PAS (preliminary alcohol screening) device or an EBT (evidential breath test) device to determine how much alcohol you have in your system.
