Improvement of interactive behaviour • Mother’s question: „How can I better handle my child?” • Victor, a hyperactive child, age 6 • 5 recordings and 5 feedback discussions • Results: • Negative cycle changes into positive • interaction • Mother more self-confident • Deeper emotional-expressive dialogue

  4. Crossing social borders through VIG – building support network Better interaction between services between parents, teachers, social workers in the family

Plans – on policy level - for the development of early education programs in Hungary Visiting (health) nurses (0-2) Nurseries (0,5 – 3) Sure Start like programs (2-5) Preschools and kindergartens (3-7) • Planned new developments: • Sure Start programs in underdeveloped regions (no child care • facilities, high poverty rate) • Integrated programs for children 0,5 to 7 years old • Supporting parents (by VIG, Step by Step and other programs) • Increase quality of educational programs (Step by Step, VIG and • others) • Partnership on local level (parents, teachers, social workers, citizen) • Improve cooperation on departmental level
