  1. The ABOVE LIFE… God’s Thoughts & Ways are Higher Born from ABOVE ?? Characteristics of The ABOVE LIFE How do I stay in this LIFE ?? Communion Prayer / Ministering

  2. The ABOVE LIFE… • God’s Thoughts and Ways are HIGHER • Isa 55:8-9For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. For as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. • 1 Cor2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. • God is Thinking, Moving and Operating in a “Higher” dimension than the World. • This Higher dimension is also Called the Spirit Realm • The Bible refers to it as PERFECT or Holy… • Gen 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine(99), the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. • Deut18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. • Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. • Deut32:4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He. • 1Pet 1:15-16 But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (Lev 11:44-45, Lev 19:2, Lev 20:7) • 1John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. • But when you look up the word PERFECT in the Greek: • Strongs: G5046 – Complete, of Full Age (Man), Perfect • And Strongs G5048 – To Complete, Accomplish, consummate in character, Consecrate, Finish, Fulfill, Make Perfect • In other words - it actually means: FULLY MATURE

  3. The ABOVE LIFE… Also: God (AND Jesus in particular) is also referred to in various places throughout the Bible as: The ROCK Meaning Their Characters Are Rock Solid – and cannot be moved from Their ways. And that leads to the description that God is Faithfull in every way.. 2Sam 22:31-33 As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him. For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a Rock, save our God? God is my strength and power: and He maketh my way perfect. Refer to Hannah’s prayer in 1Sam 2:2 There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. David wrote in Psa18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. 1Cor 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. (Exo 17:5-7, Num 20:11-13, Exo 33:22) The Name Elohim – Means Strong Mountain (Gen 1) THUS: from all this – you can see – that God has a way to describe who He IS, and thus He also said to Moses, when Moses asked Him… Exo3:13-14 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is His name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: (Jehovah)and He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Exo 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God (Jehovah Elohim)of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is My name for ever, and this is My memorial unto all generations. Meaning God is Referring to Himself – as I AM that I AM – a Strong Mountain

  4. The ABOVE LIFE… BORN FROM ABOVE… NOW Jesus explains to Nicodemus in John 3 (in the ISV) John 3:3-4 (ISV) Jesus replied to him, "Truly, truly I tell you, unless a person is born from above he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to him, "How can a person be born when he is old? He can't go back into his mother's womb a second time and be born, can he?" John 3:5-8 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly I tell you, unless a person is born of water and Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Don't be astonished that I said to you, 'All of you must be born from above.' The wind blows where it wants to. You hear its sound, but you don't know where it comes from or where it is going. That's the way it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit." Directly translated In the Greek for “Born Again” – Means “to be Brought Forth from ABOVE (or Anew, Beginning)” In Other Words – Jesus was implying every person in the world, will never be able to become what God intends for us to become, if we are not completely changed from the inside out through the Spirit of God !!! As Paul describes it to the Corinthians: 2Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 1Cor 6:17 (ISV) But the person who unites himself with the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. God Promised in Eze36:27And I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. Jam 1:16-18 Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of His own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. (1 Pet 1:17-23 – Incorruptible Seed – The Word of God) To be a SAINT – set apart / Sanctified / Holy (1 Cor 1:2)

  5. The ABOVE LIFE… • Characteristics of the ABOVE LIFE… • Let’s look at some of the Characteristics of walking in this LIFE Jesus was referring to… • 1 Cor 2:11-12 (ISV) Is there anyone who can understand his own thoughts except by his own inner spirit? In the same way, no one can know the thoughts of God except God's Spirit. Now, we have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we can understand the things that were freely given to us by God. • 1Cor 2:13 We don't speak about these things in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, as we explain spiritual things to spiritual people. • 1Cor 2:14-15 A person who isn't spiritual doesn't accept the things of God's Spirit, for they are nonsense to him. He can't understand them because they are spiritually evaluated. The spiritual person evaluates everything but is subject to no one else's evaluation. • 1Cor 2:16 For "Who has known the mind of the Lord so that he can advise him?" However, we have the mind of Christ. (Isa 40:12-14) • Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. • 2Cor 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. • 2Cor 5:21 For He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. • Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

  6. The ABOVE LIFE… • Characteristics of the ABOVE LIFE… • Rom 8:1-2There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. • Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (1 Cor 13) • Gal 5:24-25 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. • 2Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (1 John 4:18, Fil 4:6-7 – Prayer, Supplication & Thanksgiving, Fil 4:4 – Rejoice in the Lord, Mat 6 – Prayer and Fasting…) • 1John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.(Joh 4:23 – Worship in Spirit & Truth, Joh 8:32 – Know the TRUTH, & it shall make you FREE) • 1Jo 4:6-8 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. • Zec 4:6 …. Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. • Joh11:25-26Jesus said unto her, I Am the Resurrection, and the Life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this? • 2Cor 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight (Heb 11) • Phi 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. (Jam 1:22, Jam 2:14-25, 1 Pet2-3) • Jam 1:3-4 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (1 Pet1:3-9) • Jam 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. • Jam 1:6-8 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

  7. The ABOVE LIFE… Joh 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. Joh 3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. Deu28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Deu28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: Deu 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: Deu28:44 …..: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

  8. The ABOVE LIFE… How do I STAY in this LIFE ??? KNOW WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST !!! 2Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (Eph & Col) We HOLD ON to the HOPE we have in Christ – and what He did for us on the Cross…!!! Rom 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Rom 5:3-4 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; (Jam 1:3) And patience, experience; and experience, hope: Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Rom 5:6-9 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendethHis love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. We keep ourselves free from the sinful worldly nature – which is full of Doubt, Fear & Unbelief… (Jam 1:5-7) 1John 1:6-8 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We Keep the Commandments of Our Lord: Joh 15:9-10 Just as the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. So abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in His love. (read the whole of Joh 15) Have Communion Regularly…

  9. The ABOVE LIFE… Have Communion Regularly… By having Communion together as the Body of Christ – we allow the Holy Spirit (which is the Spirit of Christ) – to strengthen us, and uplift us, in that Hope and LIFE that Jesus and God (Our Father) have promised over and over again in the Bible… 1Cor 11:23-24 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you-how the Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took a loaf of bread, gave thanks for it, and broke it in pieces, saying, "This is My body that is for you.Keep doing this in memory of Me." Joh6:50-51This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. 1Cor 11:25 He did the same with the cup after the supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. As often as you drink from it, keep doing this in memory of Me." Mat 26:28 For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. 1Cor 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink from this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. Joh6:53-57 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, dwelleth in Me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth Me, even he shall live by Me. Let all these scriptures speak to you today – while you partake of the Bread and of the CUP – remembering what Christ BROUGHT ABOUT for YOU on the Cross…!!! Heb12:1-2 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. ***** A M E N *****
