Galera, C.E.H. with Clean Plus Systems II, is a Consultant & Training Specialist, with 50 plus years of professional cleaning experience and expertise in the hospitality, commercial, retail, education, business and medical offices and the construction cleaning arena. She is a 38 years Certified Executive Housekeeper, by the International Executive Housekeepers Association and is a trained CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). She is the former Corporate Executive Housekeeper for Aston Hotels and Resorts and is credited for the opening of the first U.S. Army Military Hale Koa Hotel, in Waikiki. She has instructed Cleaning Management and Technical courses for the U of H’s, Kapiolani and Leeward Community Colleges, OCET Program. She has trained for the opening of the Mega Paris Las Vegas Hotel, and most recently trained for Senior and Assisted Living facilities, Rose is also a trained CNA Certified Nursing Assistant Rose firmly believes that achieving Training Excellence in Professional Cleaning Today, for Health, Safety and a Clean Environment, is uppermost. Today, Rose trains as a Part-time Teacher (PTT) for DOE High Schools on Food Sanitation, Professional Cleaning and Housekeeping, and serves as a Proctor /Trainer for the I.E.H.A. Certification Program. She also writes a bi-monthly “Clean Talk with Rose” column for the Hawaii Hospitality Magazine.
