  1. McKinney’s Messages Week of: Feb. 24th-28th This Week: Language Arts- We will review nouns, adjectives, and adverbs! Reading- We will read Firefighter! and research Texas symbols! Math- We will learn how to make groups and multiply! Science- We will learn about government officials and services! Writing- We will write about why we like to live in Texas! Spelling Words: slowly graceful visitor yearly fighter sailor cheerful weekly quickly hardly teacher helper book friend hand leave mother over soon white REMINDERS- -Math and Spelling Homework is due on Friday. -Continue selling raffle tickets for the Spring Fling!!!  -Practice addition and subtraction math facts each night! This week practice any facts with 6 or 7! -On Friday mornings, we will be collecting cans. They must be in a plastic bag and you can leave them out front in the trailer!  Mar. 1st- Spring Fling Mar. 4th- Young Authors Conference Mar. 10th-14th- Spring Break! Please bring boxtops!!! 
