ELA: Theme: Dinosaurs We will review, blending letter sounds to say a word, breaking words into individual sounds, identify setting, characters, plot, and sequence of a story, making inferences, retelling, main idea, consonant blends, and rhyming words. Book: The Story of Dinosaurs. MATH: This unit focuses on understanding addition as putting together and adding to, and understanding subtraction as taking apart and taking from. Fluency in adding and subtracting within 5 and counting by ones and tens to 100 are also focuses.
