Drugs Does NOT cure Depression: Jennie’s dad walked out after fighting with his wife for sometime, poor 14 year old Jennie learns to live with a mother who takes pills for her depression.
That’s What Friends are for! Jennie has two best friends named, Bridget and Marcie. They got into a bad habit for a bit of time of smoking pot and was caught by Marcie’s strict military father. Jennie’s mom finally realized that being a downer was not helping anything and wanted to fix things with Jennie and show her she can get help and get better.
Love at First Sight? Jennie has a new English teacher named Mr.Johnstone, the love of her life in her eyes. Mr. Johnstone was very friendly with Jennie and talked about her problems with her and started asking her to stay after and help him grade papers….Suspicious.
What Would you DO? Mr. Johnstone starting passing notes to Jennie being a little un-professional and ever bought her a perfume bottle, apple flavored, and a necklace.
Touchy, Touchy…. Mr.Johnstone made Jennie feel wanted and cared about. Always stroking her hair touching her hands.
Secret Admirer. While their relationship grew awkward and more closer together after summer teaching lessons together and tons of notes and flirting, Mr. Johnstone led her on and made her swear to tell no one, not even her best friends. He said their love was sacred and to be private and burn anything he ever gave her so no one finds out anything.
