  3. 2. Paganism • A ghost survives • The ghost moves to the place of the dead • The concept of the underworld • Ghosts can visit and interact with the living

  4. 3. Reincarnation • The individual has a soul that is re-born into another living body • The concept of Karma • The soul lives on for eternity

  5. 4. Pantheism • Death changes nothing because there is nothing to begin with • Death moves the person/soul to the eternal • Time and space are illusions

  6. 5. Immortality • The soul survives and moves to its final resting place • This may be heaven or hell • It may be immediate or through many stages • Often confused with Christianity

  7. 6. Resurrection • The body and the soul are resurrected • The body reunites with the soul in its final resting place • Assumes God is forgiving • Most people will go to heaven
