The students carelessly ate their lunch. The students ate their lunch politely. Can you think of other adverbs that might fit in this sentence and change the meaning?

  4. Adverbs can tell how an action happened. They can come before or after the verbs they describe. Kim walked up to the horse bravely. (walked how?) She carefully sat on the horse. (sat how?) The horse stood quietly. (stood how?) Suddenly it galloped. (galloped how?)
