2. Monsanto History   Monsanto is an agricultural company Monsanto creates new technology to help farmers around the world Monsanto company started in 1901 in Missouri St.louis Monsanto was started by a man name John F Queeny Later the company was named after his wife Olga Monsanto Queeny

3. Monsanto Produces Monsanto company first started producing saccharin they were proving to the coca-cola company Produces seeds and traits Corn Oilseeds Cotton Wheat All so they make chemicals that protect against bugs and weeds Roundup Orange Agent

4. Against Monsanto Monsanto is suing small farmers because there Canola fields were contaminated with Monsanto's genetically engineered Round-Up Ready Canola by pollen from a nearby farm. Therefore Monsanto is demanding Schmeiser pay their Technology Fee (the fee farmers must pay to grow Monsanto's genetically engineered products). Monsanto is being unfair to the small farmers and they are trying to take them out of business

5. Farmers Monsanto trys to take out a small dairy family farm out of business. Monsanto sued the dairy farm because they should not have told the consumers that they don’t use rBGH in their milk products. rBGH is a synthetic hormone banned banned (for health reasons) in every industrialized country other than the U.S.

PCBS Pollution On west side of anniston where people are poor they ground fruits in the gardens and their kids playing in their back yard They didn't know their dirt and yards and bass and kids along with the acrid air they breathed were all contaminated with toxic chemicals Monsanto was discharging toxic waste into a west Anniston creek and dumped millions of pounds of PCBs into oozing open-pit landfills It was discovered that fish put in the creek you would see them belly turned up in 10 seconds

Orange Agent The dioxin in Agent Orange has been accepted internationally as one of the most toxic chemicals on the planet, causing everything from severe birth defects, to cancer, to neurological disorders, to death. Long before Agent Orange was used as a herbicide in the Vietnam war, Monsanto knew of its negative health impacts on humans from 1962 to 1970, the US military sprayed 72 million liters of herbicides, mostly Agent Orange, on over one million Vietnamese civilians and over 100,000 U.S. troops. In order to avoid medical compensation expenses, Monsanto continues to claim this now banned chemical is not toxic.
