  3. Give your resume little to no color Do not use bright or distractive colors Be sure there is no color behind the words If you use a design, make sure it is not too distracting Color & background

  4. Make sure it has a formal layout Do not make it more than one page long Should be professional (that means no heads on your resume.) Page layout

  5. Use correct punctuation Use good sentence variety Conjunct your verbs correctly Make sure to indent when appropriate No slang Grammar IDK the cat ran . ^

  6. Previous positions Education completed Skills that might be important to the job Age OR Whether or not you have been in jail Your current household address Way of transportation Important Information to Include
