  2. John 16:32-33 32 But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when you will be scattered, each one going his own way, leaving me alone. Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me. 33 I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

  3. Things We Know To Be True Bad things are going to happen “But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when you will be scattered…” “…Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows.”

  4. The source of trials and sorrows… Romans 8:22 For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 1 John 5:19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

  5. Things We Know To Be True God is always God “Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me.”

  6. Things We Know To Be True Jesus is our hope “…But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
