  13. Barnes & Noble Book Fair Gift Card $ 1,509 Gift Card (compared to $1,476 last year) $ 302 20% Educator Discount $ 1,811 Total Value at List Price No sales tax for educational institutions! Some Statistics Regarding Donated Books: 27 teachers filled out wish lists (compared to 27 last year) 118 books were donated during the fair (compared to 120 books last year) 118 books donated were worth about $1,416. (compared to $1,500 last year) EC teachers received 75% of books requested. E1 teachers received 52% of books requested. Special teachers (art, library, spanish, sp. ed) received 21% of books requested, upper grade teachers received 8% of books requested

Gift Card Distribution Guidelines • Gift card funds will be divided equitably among 27 teachers • such that those teachers who received more donated books • from the book fair will receive less gift card books (and vice versa) • Resulting target is to give each teacher approximately $124 worth • of books in total, whether they be donated or purchased • Teachers who received more than $124 in donated books will receive no gift card books (3 of the 27 teachers) • Teachers who listed less than $124 worth of books will receive all books requested (6 of the 27 teachers)
